Your library on your phone.

Connect your Calibre or OPDS server and read from the library you already curate — no cloud middleman, no vendor lock-in, no re-importing books you already own.

Calibre

Calibre is the most popular open-source ebook library manager. If you run a Calibre content server on your desktop or NAS, StoryCairn connects directly and lets you browse, download, and read from your full catalog on mobile.

OPDS

OPDS (Open Publication Distribution System) is an open standard for ebook catalog feeds. Any server that speaks OPDS — Calibre, Kavita, KOReader, Komga, and many others — works with StoryCairn.

How it works

  1. Point StoryCairn at your server. Enter the URL of your Calibre content server or OPDS feed in the app's library settings. HTTPS is recommended; HTTP works on local networks.
  2. Browse your catalog. StoryCairn renders your library with the same tile and list views you use for public-domain sources — familiar, fast, searchable.
  3. Download and read offline. Tap any book to download its EPUB. Once downloaded, it stays on your device and is available without a network connection — just like any other book in StoryCairn.

One-time purchase

Calibre and OPDS access is a premium feature, unlocked with a single one-time purchase. No subscription. No tiers. Buy it once and it's yours — across every device signed into the same App Store or Google Play account.
